Britney Spears Comes Back On TV!

She’ll be starring in the now popular sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" again… Britney Spears is to appear in a popular US sitcom for a second time playing a receptionist. The makers of How I Met Your Mother have invited the Pop Star back after her previous appearance drew 3 million extra viewers. Britney Spears- whose real estate is still under the control of her father- is expected to record the new episode of "How I Met Your Mother" this week before it airs May 12, 2008

The announcement comes as a surprise as actor in the show Neil Patrick Harris told us earlier this month: “She's not going to be a regular on our show… She's not an actress.” Britney Spears had a mental breakdown early in 2008 and was admitted to hospital. Hopefully news that she is working again means she is getting back on track…

Britney Spears Returning To ‘How I Met Your Mother’?

A new report has surfaced suggesting Britney Spears is heading back to primetime television.

Spears made a splash last month when she appeared as a receptionist on the popular CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” propelling the show to its highest ratings ever. People reported on Saturday, that the singer would return to the series, according to an unidentified source.

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” the source said. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”

Her return to the show will be for just one episode, the source noted.

Since Spears appeared on the program during March, several stories have surfaced reporting she was planning a return. A source however, previously told Access Hollywood Spears would not return to the show.

Fox studios, which makes the program, would not confirm Spears’ return, People reported.
