Britney Spears Returning To ‘How I Met Your Mother’?

A new report has surfaced suggesting Britney Spears is heading back to primetime television.

Spears made a splash last month when she appeared as a receptionist on the popular CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” propelling the show to its highest ratings ever. People reported on Saturday, that the singer would return to the series, according to an unidentified source.

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” the source said. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”

Her return to the show will be for just one episode, the source noted.

Since Spears appeared on the program during March, several stories have surfaced reporting she was planning a return. A source however, previously told Access Hollywood Spears would not return to the show.

Fox studios, which makes the program, would not confirm Spears’ return, People reported.

Britney Spears Gives $25,000 To Idol Gives Back!

Britney Spears was so moved by the "Idol Gives Back" telethon on Wednesday night, she donated $25,000 to the cause. The pop star forgot about her own troubles for the night and watched the likes of Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and Carrie Underwood perform as part of the "American Idol" charity fundraiser. And moving films and appeals made by Annie Lennox, Alicia Keys and Brad Pitt, among others, compelled her to dig deep for children's charities, aid groups and poverty relief.

A Spears insider tells Life & Style magazine, "She watched the show and cried for, like, two hours over the children in Africa with malaria. "She didn't know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting (her father) Jamie's permission." Jamie Spears was put in charge of his daughter's finances when he was named the co-conservator of her estate in February. Meanwhile, Spears and those who donated cash to "Idol Gives Back" raised $22 million overnight. Organizers of the show hope to raise more than $100 million.

Will Britney Spears Return to Her 'Mother'?

An executive producer for "How I Met Your Mother" says he's open to having Britney Spears return for another cameo. "We always said, 'You know, if her character pops, we'll bring her back,'" Carter Bays told The Associated Press on Thursday. "I thought she was great. I was very proud of that episode."

Spears, 26, garnered good reviews for her guest starring role as a goofy receptionist in the March 24 episode of the cult CBS sitcom. The show ended with Spears' character flirting with womanizer Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).

On the following episode, which aired Monday, the show introduced a "mystery woman" who's been sabotaging Barney's usually successful attempts to pick up ladies.

Asked if Spears might turn out to be the saboteur, Bays said: "Could be. There's no reason why not." He also suggested actress Sarah Chalke, who guest starred alongside Spears.

Bays said it was surreal to see Spears on the set.

"It was totally weird. ... I think we have a very, like, kind of Midwestern homey vibe here on the show, and it was strange to suddenly have helicopters circling," he said.

So will she or won't she come back?

"I don't know," he said. "I don't know the answer to that."

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears Turns 17 on a Budget

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears turned her 17th birthday bash into a bargain affair, dining with fiancé Casey Aldridge at chain diner Ruby Tuesday and then shopping at superstore Wal-Mart.

The couple were spotted in Liberty, Mississippi, close to where Aldridge and his family live, on Saturday.During a trip to discount superstore Wal-Mart, Spears was spotted looking at sleeping bags, suggesting the couple is planning a camping tripSpears' big sister Britney celebrated her sibling's birthday with a family dinner in Brentwood, Los Angeles.

The pop star joined parents Lynne and Jamie and brother Bryan for a meal at Italian restaurant Ristorante Peppone.

Britney Spears Spends Quality Time With Her Sons.

Britney Spears was visited by her two sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and 17-month-old Jayden James. This is the second time she got to see her kids in the last few days. The two boys were taken driven to Spears home by ex hubby Kevin Federline’s bodyguard. The Pop princess spent 3 hours of quality time with her kids. According to reports, Spears and ex husband Federline have come to an agreement on a “Structured Visitation arrangement. According to the arrangement, Britney now gets to see her kids thrice a week in supervisied visits. Rules of the arrangement state that Britney is allowed to spend time with her kids only in the presence of her father, lawyer, psychiatrist and a bodyguard.

Hope that the love of her babies might bring Britney back on the right track.

Britney Spears Overly Controlled By Sam Lufti!

Britney Spears manager- Sam Lufti is accused of being overly in control of the star’s affairs.

Britney’s mother accuses him of dictating her daughter’s life. She says her daughter Britney, has been living the life of a hostage in her own house.

Lufti manipulates and controls Britney, there have been times when he has drugged her, and enabled the paparazzi to take pictures of her even when she was not in her senses.

She says with her own eyes she has seen how Lufti controlled her daughter.

Lynne Spears said Lutfi “drugged Britney, he has cut Britney’s home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her.

He claims to control everything - Britney’s business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate.”

She also said that Lufti pretended to be her well wisher, but in reality was causing more harm to her daughter.

Lynne also said that he controlled her daughter’s whereabouts, and is hand in glove with the paparazzi, he demotivates her daughter calling her names and an unfit mother.

However now with the court’s intervention Lufti is ordered to stay away from Spears, her home, her parents and siblings’ homes, and the hospital where she is confined.

When Lufti was asked to comment on this he said: “I have no problems with anyone writing anything negative against me. My image is not of concern, hers is.”

Right now everything is a big mess with Britney not in her senses.

Once she gets well hopefully all issues may be sorted out in a better manner.
